Update KB4476976 Windows 10 1809 Released!
  • Resolving problems that can cause Microsoft Edge to stop working with certain screen drivers.
  • Overcoming problems that can cause third-party applications to have difficulty authenticating hotspots.
  • Resolving the problem that caused the non-root domain promotion to fail with an error, "Replication operations have database errors." The problem occurs in the Active Directory forest where optional features such as Active Directory recycling have been activated.
  • Troubleshooting related to date formats for the Japanese calender. For more information, see KB4469068.

  • Troubleshooting that allows users to uninstall applications from the Start Menu when the group policy "Prevents users from uninstalling applications from the Start Menu" is set.
  • Troubleshooting problems that cause File Explorer to stop working when you click the Turn on button for the timeline feature. This problem occurs when the group policy "Allow upload user activity" is disabled.

Update KB4476976 Windows 10 1809 Released!
  • Troubleshooting that prevents users from installing Local Experience Packages from the Microsoft Store when the language has been specified as the active Windows display language.

  • Overcome problems with two-way audio that occur during phone calls for several Bluetooth headsets.

  • Troubleshoot problems in Windows Server 2019 that can disconnect connectivity on a guest virtual machine (VM) when the application injects a low resource flag on the package.
  • Resolves problems that occur if you create a page file on a drive with the FILE_PORTABLE_DEVICE characteristic. The message "Windows creates a temporary warning" appears.
  • Resolves an issue that causes Remote Desktop Services to stop accepting connections after receiving multiple connections.
  • Resolve problems with Windows Server 2019 which causes the Hyper-V VM to remain on the bootloader screen for OS selection when restarting the machine. This problem occurs when a Virtual Machine Connection (VMConnect) is installed.
  •  Resolve problems with end user-specified character rendering (EUDC) on Microsoft Edge.
  • Update the Ltotape.sys driver to add native support for the Linear Tape-Open 8 (LTO-8) tape drive.
But with so many problems being fixed, Microsoft says there are two problems known with this Windows 10 cumulative update:
  • Applications that use the Microsoft Jet database with the Microsoft Access 97 file format may fail to open if the database has a column name of more than 32 characters. The database will fail to open with an error, "Database Format Not Recognized".
  • After installing KB4480116, some users report that they cannot load web pages on Microsoft Edge using a local IP address. Browsing failed or the webpage might become unresponsive.

For those of you who have not received this update, Microsoft will automatically update to your Windows 10, or you can update manually via Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update.
